Parking

The Winter Parking Ban is in effect.

As of November 1st, no vehicle is allowed to be parked on a public street between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:30 am.

This parking ban allows our City vehicles to safely and effectively keep our streets passable during and after a winter storm. Failure to comply with the winter parking ban may result in your vehicle being towed at your expense.

A Few Notes about Parking . . . .

  • Bicycles are not allowed to park in the parking garage on Beacon Street East.
  • Overnight parking is not allowed in City Lots.
  • Please do not block the sidewalk with a parked car -- even if its in your driveway.  People with disabilities may not be able to pass.  In the winter, the sidewalk plows need to pass through to do their job.
